Memorial contributions to honor your loved one can be made to the Urbandale Public Library in your loved one’s name. The funds go to the Library’s Foundation. The Foundation is a tax free entity so your contributions will also be tax deductible. You may make a monetary donation to be used as the Library sees fit or you may specify how you would like your contribution to be used. All memorials are posted in the lobby with the name of the person you are honoring and the donor’s name. Books, trees, benches and special collections are all examples of how memorial contributions have been used in the past.
